Twilight Curriculum (Year 10)

At Warden Park Academy we believe in providing students with a range of opportunities to develop and enhance their education and personal development. For students entering Year 10 and in some cases Year 9 we have a range of programmes and GCSE’s on offer.  Each of the programmes is designed to enhance students’ curriculum experience and develop a wide range of academic, personal, social and emotional skills.

This year we have students participating in the following courses:

  • GCSE Latin
  • GCSE Classical Civilisation
  • Level 2 Certificate in Finance Education
  • Higher project Qualification
  • Duke of Edinburgh
  • Young Enterprise

Students apply at the end of Year 9 for the programmes and begin in Year 10, in some cases the programmes extend into Year 11. For students in Year 9 this year, a parents’ information session will be held in the summer term and students are then welcome to apply.

For information about the courses please view this year’s course guide. Courses offered are reviewed annually; please do feel free to provide comments or suggestions to kfitzgerald@wardenpark.co.uk
