E-Learning and On-line Resources

Digital technology is one tool of many that teachers and students use across the Academy to help ensure World Class learning takes place. Our 1:1 iPad scheme provides us with greater opportunities than ever before to promote both independent and collaborative learning. Instant, personal and individualised feedback, targeted differentiation of activities and development of both digital and communication skills are given significant support through the use of our Digital Devices.

Of course we are acutely aware of the importance of developing students' non-digital as well as digital skills. A typical lesson is likely to comprise a range of activities including  iPad based work, handwritten work, speaking and listening and practical activities.

Our approach allows us to use digital technology to revolutionise the learning experience of our students, without losing touch with the importance of pen, paper and practical based learning.   E-safety advice
