Warden Park Secondary Academy has a history of strong GCSE results and in 2018 showed that with the commitment from students and staff together, very high standards were achieved. With the Government move towards linear qualifications and the increased emphasis on non exam assessment (NEA), we are well equipped to build on this history of success.

The Examinations Officer and her team are highly committed to each student.  This means that they will, wherever possible, accommodate individual student need, provide a strong fully trained invigilation team to support the running of examinations and will provide timely and considered responses to all students and parents with any questions or concerns about the examination process.

Warden Park Secondary Academy has a strong commitment towards supporting candidates with SEND/BESD. In the first instance queries regarding Exam Access Arrangements should be directed to the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) smartin48@wardenpark.co.uk

GCSE results and enquiries

GCSE results day falls on Thursday, 22 August 2019. Results will be available for Year 11 students to collect from the Assembly Hall from 10 am to 11 am in person or by an appointed person if in possession of a signed dated letter of authorisation from the candidates. This is a happy occasion and allows for Year 11 students to celebrate together their hard work. GCSE results will be sent out to students by post if not collected. GCSE results will not be available on the Warden Park website.

Please note since 2017 exam boards no longer provide a remark service. Any questions regarding results should be directed to subject teachers in the first instance. Please note, we are not permitted to submit any request to an exam board for a student unless we are in possession of a completed candidate consent form. Click here to access candidate consent form  Once you have discussed your query with your teacher, please forward the consent form to the relevant department.  Please be patient as not all subject teachers return until the start of the new academic year.
