You're going to enjoy Year 10!

Year 10 is serious. You are a year into your options, so you are doing what you want to be doing. You have a well-balanced, interesting and exciting range of subjects that challenge you. Challenge yourself fully; get stuck in!

Being organised is essential: use of your iPad and checking G4S will help you to stay organised.

Your parents will receive information home from your teachers once every half term, informing them of your progress and your attitude to learning in every subject. Prizes will be awarded in the form of badges, certificates and phone calls home for those of you who are doing well. Those who are doing less well can expect interventions to be put in place in order to try and help them improve. No stone is left unturned by the Year 10 team in order for you to achieve and, hopefully, surpass your potential.

I feel an immense amount of pride in being part of the Warden Park community, and I would like you to feel the same. I expect you all to take pride in what you do. Pride in your efforts, pride in your appearance, and pride in your behaviour around the school. You have responsibilities to yourself and to others; we will ensure that you handle those responsibilities in a mature and motivated manner.

Mrs Finley, Head of Year
