Geography supports students in developing an understanding of how human and physical process work together at different scales to shape the environment and to develop the skills that help us explore and understand these changes. Geography enables students to develop an understanding of how the world works and to engender a sense of place. It encourages a sense of global citizenship and a lifelong interest in the world around us, emphasising us as part of the whole with a critical role to play in the future of our planet.
