ACADEMIC REPORTING

Accessing Go4Schools

At Warden Park Secondary Academy we use a platform called ‘Go4Schools’ to record information about your child, which we share with you via this platform. Your child’s attendance, community points, behaviour logs, timetable, home work tasks, academic progress and character for learning grades can all be accessed via this platform. This is a central form of communication between school and home. We strongly recommend that parents/carers check their child’s page on a daily basis.

If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on : admin@wardenpark.co.uk

Progress Statements

Progress statements are used throughout your child's time at Warden Park Secondary Academy to provide a quick summary of your child's progress. This is calculated by comparing their Target Grade with their Working at Grade. The Working at Grade is the grade they would achieve at the end of Year 11 based on the standard of work they are currently producing. The Working at Grade is calculated via the various subject assessments that are recorded over time in Go4Schools (you can view these for each subject via the 'Progress' tab). The progress statements are as follows:

Above: The student is working at a level above their Target Grade

On: The student is working at a level consistent with their Target Grade

Working Towards: The student is working at a level one grade below their Target Grade

Below: The student is working at a level more than one grade below their Target Grade

REPORTING ON CHARACTER

Whilst academic achievements are a key part in the pursuit of personal fulfilment, the latter can only be achieved if students possess the resilience, empathy, kindness, curiosity and self-control needed to make their aspirations and dreams a reality. As such, a large part of our focus at Warden Park Academy is the development of ‘character’.  Below you can see a poster entitled 'Character for Learning at WPSA'. This poster shows the different Character for Learning grades that we use to provide feedback to your child about their character.
