At Warden Park Secondary Academy we use a platform called ‘Go4Schools’ to record information about your child, which we share with you via this platform. Your child’s attendance, community points, behaviour logs, timetable, home work tasks, academic progress and character for learning grades can all be accessed via this platform. This is a central form of communication between school and home. We strongly recommend that parents/carers check their child’s page on a daily basis.
If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on : admin@wardenpark.co.uk.
We strongly believe at this stage of your child’s education that the focus of their energies needs to be on developing and sustaining successful learning routines and good character, which are communicated via their CfL data, rather than academic grades. Instead we publish the following progress statements on Go4Schools for each subject (starting at the end of the Spring Term in Year7):
Rapid Progress: The student is working at a level that would suggest that they are achieving better than expected outcomes based on their KS3 start point.
Good Progress: The student is working at a level that would suggest that they are achieving expected outcomes based on their KS3 start point.
Limited Progress: The student is working at a level that would suggest that they are currently achieving less than expected outcomes based on their KS3 start point.
Whilst academic achievements are a key part in the pursuit of personal fulfilment, the latter can only be achieved if students possess the resilience, empathy, kindness, curiosity and self-control needed to make their aspirations and dreams a reality. As such, a large part of our focus at Warden Park Academy is the development of ‘character’. Below you can see a poster entitled 'Character for Learning at WPSA'. This poster shows the different Character for Learning grades that we use to provide feedback to your child about their character.
