The high standards that we expect from students at Warden Park are reflected in the excellence that our teaching staff strive for every lesson. Our pedagogical approach is research based and has been developed by our teaching and learning working party. It is based around our 6 characteristics of excellent lessons.

These characteristics also underpin our teacher CPD programme where staff work together in professional learning communities to develop strategies that will improve our students’ experience. These communities allow staff to explore the very latest thinking in educational research in the context of what works best for the students in our care. All teaching staff are involved in visiting colleagues’ lessons as a part of identifying what the very best teaching looks like in practice.
