Any problems regarding the use of County Buses (including the issue of bus passes), refer directly to Schools’ Transport via here or write to Transport Co-ordination Group, The Grange, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1RH. Please note replacement bus passes will incur a cost set by the bus company and/or West Sussex schools transport.  Any problems regarding use of public service buses, refer directly to the relevant bus company.

 A number of county routes are due for contract renewal.  Operators may therefore change.

 

Drive Closure Times and Access

To maintain student safety, the school drive is closed to parent vehicles during the following times on weekdays:

  • Morning: 8:00 am – 9:00 am

  • Afternoon: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

During these windows, access is restricted to:

  • School buses and taxis.

  • Blue Badge holders with a pre-arranged school appointment.

  • Students with physical disabilities or injuries requiring direct support into the building.

 

Bicycles and Scooters

Students are permitted to cycle to school and use our dedicated student bicycle racks near the North playground.  Students must wear bicycle helmets and lock up their bicycle securely in this designated area only.

Scooters are not permitted as a mode of transportation to school and students found doing so will have scooters confiscated for the day and parents contacted.
